NIAGARA REGION
TAKE BACK THE LAND
Native planting, thoughtful clearing and practical land maintenance for properties across Niagara.
ROOTED IN NIAGARA
Oak & Origin was built around a simple idea:
Help people make better use of their land while leaving it healthier than we found it.
What began with native tree planting has grown into a broader approach to land care focused on three areas: planting, clearing and maintenance.
From establishing native trees, windbreaks and pollinator habitat to reclaiming overgrown areas, managing vegetation and maintaining trails and natural spaces, every project is approached with purpose. Clearing isn’t simply about removing what’s there - it’s about creating what belongs.
Based in Niagara Region, Oak & Origin works with homeowners and property owners on projects of all sizes, with a particular focus on native species, ecological restoration and practical land management.
Whether you’re looking to establish something new, reclaim an overlooked part of your property, or maintain the land you already have, the goal is the same: create healthier, more functional land that improves with time.

Our Roots
Founded by Jesse Winger
Oak & Origin was inspired by the beautiful Firelanes of Port Colborne.
Surrounded by sprawling mature oak trees, Jesse was inspired by the character and natural beauty they brought to the landscape. What started as an appreciation for the trees lining his own Firelane grew into a desire to help property owners across Niagara create and restore natural spaces of their own.
The idea remains simple: help people make better use of their land while leaving it healthier than we found it.
